The RTX 3090 has 24 GB of VRAM and 936 GB/s bandwidth, the same VRAM as an RTX 4090, and is sold used today. That makes it a common way to reach 24 GB, or 48 GB with two cards.

VRAM and bus width from NVIDIA spec pages; bandwidth from Wikipedia series tables (not listed on NVIDIA pages); MSRPs from NVIDIA press releases. Current street prices: TBD.
